If educators can remember names - they can remember pronouns.  If you are an educator, you work toward a safe environment for your students - one that promotes learning.  It does not matter if you agree with or dislike a certain aspect of a student - you still treat them with the same manner as you would any of your students.  Before anything else - these are the very basic/foundational elements of being an educator.  (if you take issue with this and are an educator - please step down from the field and find a more appropriate career.)
